(Correspondent Ai Xiao) In order to further implement the spirit of the Report to the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China on promoting high-standard opening-up and the 2030 Global Development Strategy of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, the International Admission and Cooperation Office (IACO), School of International Education held the "Admission Test & Promotional Session for International Postgraduate Students (Bangladesh)" both online and offline, so as to improve the quality of international students. Over 30 local students from Bangladesh attended offline at Belt & Road Chinese Center (BRCC) located in Dhaka, capital city of Bangladesh. Online attendees include Ms. ZHAO Xiaofeng, Deputy Dean of the School of International Education, Mr AI Xiao, Deputy Director of IACO, and Ms XUE Jiajia and Mr YU Wenchang, both Program officers.

The session consists of two parts: admission test and policy publicity. Students will attend Online Promotional Session after completing the admission test to learn about the latest admission policies and procedures and HUST will select high-quality students via the admission test.

The "Admission Test & Promotional Session" is an important initiative to improve the quality of international students and promote the high-quality development of international education. In the future, HUST will continue to hold promotional sessions in Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Tanzania and other countries.
