ZHENG Ying isa Professor, doctoral tutor in Huazhong University of Science and Technology, IEEE Senior member, a member of Technical Committee on fault diagnosis of Chinese Association of automation, a director in Hubei Association of automation, and program committee members and session (co)chairs in a number of academic conferences.

She has been selected to be supported by the Outstanding Talent Fund in Hubei Province and has won a Second Class Hubei Natural Science Award. The applicant undertook 3 National Natural Science Foundations, participated sub-project of the national 973 projects as a second director and was in charge of the sub-project of the key project from the National Natural Science Foundation. She has published over 100 papers on international top journals and conferences such as IEEE Trans, JPC, etc, in which 40 papers are currently indexed by SCI. She has 20 granted Chinese invent patents.

Her research interests include industrial process monitoring, data analysis, fault diagnosis, Health management, process control.
