Ⅰ.Program Objectives

The undergraduate program in Traffic Engineering is aimed at cultivating high-class engineering technology and management elites with the ability of adpating to modern science & technology, and economic development requirements, all-round development of morality, intelligence and physique, and innovation quality and practice ability. The students are expected to be capable of providing the basic theory, knowledge and training of engineers in both traffic engineering and transportation & logistics fields.The graduated students can be competent in offering essential services in planning & design, construction, managment, research & development, teaching, etc. within the fields of traffic engineering, transportation engineering, and logistics engineering.

This is an important basic course for undergraduate students. Engineering Internship

The content of this course can be roughly divided into two parts. The first part for project construction site production practice. Students can choose the project on any of the parties to joining into the one party (such as construction, supervision party or owner party) as the practice of receiving and guidance unit, and accept the guidance unit assigned guidance teachers and school teacher’s dual leadership. During this period, the students must be familiar with the design documents, construction documents and construction organization and management files, etc, in the guidance of teachers under the arrangement, involved in the project production or management. Write diary every day practice, collect writing practice report and little research report related material. The second part is students internship report and little research report to write, when necessary, invite construction management domain expert to students for special reports.
