On November 28, the 5th Africa-China-France Higher Education Forum was held. Around 100 senior executives, experts and scholars from 19 colleges and universities in Africa, China and France gathered together to exchange ideas and discuss the potential, methods and models of cooperation between the three parties in higher education. Chen Jianguo, Vice President of HUST, was invited to participate in the forum and delivered a presentation on the topic of "Bringing together strengths for mutual benefits and fostering practical exchanges and cooperation between Africa, China and France".

In his presentation, VP Chen highlighted HUST’s efforts in working with French and African partners in areas such as talent training, scientific research, technology commercialization, and social services. He shared HUST’s latest progress in building the Junshan International Campus and announced a new initiative for future cooperation. He pointed out that HUST had always valued its partnerships with France and Africa, actively seeking new opportunities for cooperation and creating platforms for exchange. A number of high-level collaborations have been achieved. In the future, HUST will continue to uphold the principles of being open, inclusive, mutually beneficial and sharing, and work towards promoting high-quality and sustainable cooperation with France and Africa.
