In order to attract outstanding international students to come for short-term exchanges and scientific research, Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) has specially set up the 2023 "Discover at HUST" International Summer School Program. The program is funded by China Link – International Summer School ScholarshipProgramof the Ministry of Education, China.

HUST is a key comprehensive university under the direct supervision of the Ministry of Education. It is a participant university of the former “211” & “985” Project in China, and also one of the first universities approved under the national "Double First-Class" Initiative. HUST boasts a full range of academic disciplines. It has 11 disciplines, including philosophy, economics, law, education, literature, science, engineering, medicine, management, art, and interdisciplinary disciplines. In recent years, HUST has steadily improved its comprehensive strength, achieved remarkable results in discipline construction, and made itself visible by 27 national major scientific innovation platforms represented by Wuhan National Laboratory for Optoelectronics (WNLO), Wuhan National High Magnetic Field Center (WHMFC) and so on. According to the latest 2023 US NEWS and QS World University Rankings, HUST ranks 109th and 306th respectively in the world universities rankings. In the 2022 Shanghai Ranking of World Universities, HUST entered into top 100 in the world, ranking 96th.

1. Program introduction

a. Foreign students with bachelor's degree or above can apply for the program.

b. Focusing on majors of science, engineering and medicine. The program will be carried out through lectures, seminars, practical visits and other forms.

c. Students are required to study between July 1, 2023 and August 31, 2023, and study period should exceed 14 days.

d. The scholarship covers tuition, accommodation, living expenses and medical insurance. Based on each student’s real study period in China, the funding will be converted according to the Chinese Government Scholarship standard for visiting students.

2023年“问学华中大”国际暑期学校项目招生简章

为吸引国际优秀青年学子来校进行短期交流和科研合作，18luck新利电竞 特别设立了2023年“问学华中大”国际暑期项目。该项目受到教育部China Link——国际暑期学校奖学金项目的全额资助。

18luck新利电竞 是国家教育部直属重点综合性大学，是国家“211工程”重点建设和“985工程”建设高校之一，是首批“双一流”建设高校。我校学科齐全、结构合理，拥有哲学、经济学、法学、教育学、文学、理学、工学、医学、管理学、艺术学、交叉学科等11大学科门类。近年来，学校综合实力稳步提升，学科建设成果显著，以武汉光电国家研究中心、国家脉冲强磁场科学中心等为代表的27个国家级重大科技创新平台体系熠熠生辉。在2023年U.S NEWS和QS的最新排名中，学校分别位列第109名和第306名；在软科2022年世界大学排名中，学校跻身全球百强，位居第96名。

一、项目介绍

1. 境外本科及以上的外国籍学生可申报该项目。

2. 聚焦理工科、医学类专业，通过授课、研讨、实践参观等多种形式展开。

3. 学生需在2023年7月1日至2023年8月31日期间在我校进修学习，学习交流时间不少于14天。

4. 奖学金资助内容包括：学费、住宿费、生活费和医疗保险费。根据学生实际在华学习期限，资助标准按现行中国政府奖学金普通进修生全额资助标准进行折算。
